sgp_banner_stand_small.jpgThe Suffolk County Golf Partnership has been set up to introduce more people to golf and help 'grow the game'
within the county. Formed in May 2008 between the Suffolk Golf Union, Suffolk Ladies County Golf Association and the Suffolk Professional Golfers Association it's aim is to work closely with all golf facilities in Suffolk enabling more people to enjoy the health, fitness, and social benefits of playing golf on Suffolk's scenic golf courses. It will also help promote the game of golf, encourage regular participation, improve standards of play at all levels and ultimately try and fill the membership vacancies that currently exist within our clubs.

The Suffolk County Golf Partnership is currently funded by grants from the England Golf Partnership which consists of the English Golf Union, English Women's Golf Association, and the Professional Golfers’ Association, supported by the Golf Foundation and Sport England. We are also seeking funding from commercial organisations that may like to offer sponsorship and support to the SGP. Please contact one of the development team if you would like to discuss this fantastic opportunity further.

The Suffolk Golf Partnership web site offers
information on all Suffolk golf clubs, golf driving ranges, 9 hole courses and pitch and putt courses including membership availability and cost, green fee rates, local accommodation, and special offers. Our website will also provide information on EGU/ EWGA initiatives that are available to clubs and ranges such as GolfMark, RangeMark, Free Golf Coaching Grant, Club Coaching Grant and National Skills Challenge as well as details of the new Suffolk Junior Golf Academysport_england_logo_small.jpg

If you would like to promote any special offers or membership packages your golf club is currently offering by advertising on our website please contact us and we will be pleased to help.

We are also very interested to know of any successes or best practice your golf club/ facility has been involved in so please get in touch and let us know!
